As part of the ‘Rickermer Reismühle’ building construction competition organised and invited by ParkQuartier Weserinsel GmbH in cooperation with the Senator for Construction, Mobility and Urban Development (SBMS) of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, SMAQ’s design for four point blocks with predominantly smaller, senior-friendly apartments and residential and partly public uses in the base area was awarded third prize.
